Care to comment on any of the books? What aspect of vampire novels appeal to you? Myself, I can't make it through one. First, I get distracted VERY EASILY (can you tell?). Second, I don't know where to begin, Harris? MJ Davidson? Meyer? It's like I have to force myself to keep reading them, I KNOW, blasphemy! Sorry, but that's just me. Someday, I'm sure I'll jump on the vampire bandwagon, just not now. Until then, keep reading!

I love the Sookie Stackhouse novels! They are really good. I don't know what it is about vampire novels that I like. maybe just the fact that they are so far from real that I can really lose myself in them, you know? Though Twilight is probably more popular, I would start with Harris' books. They are much more well written.
Thanks for the advice, Cassie! I did try Twilight, but got stuck mid-way.
i love mj davidson and charlaine harris. i'vre already ordered dead and gone for my kindle on tuesday. i can't wait for mj's new betsy book as well.
